Comments:
ST. Petersburg Amateur Radio Club (www.sparc-club.org) gets on the air after
being shutdown for close to two years. A club with over 100 members made a good
comeback with over 40 attending the 2022 ARRL Field Day operation with 21 of its
members and visitors given time at the radios making contacts. Radio time was
available to all who wanted with support from seasoned mentors when needed.
Station antenna setup, computer program radio interfacing plus a show and tell
of the many other aspects to getting a station up and running were reached. This
created a true learning plus fun event which has always been SPARC's goal.
