Comments:
Started on 21 MHz with old settings. Heard just
Sven 9A5MX running, all others on the waterfall
were S/P. Pace was slow, moved to 14 MHz 1912Z.
There USA was available with Tony K3ZA as the
first one. More Southern stations were weak.
The boost came at 1930Z with the C4-flare and
conditions turned West with Iz W0IZ worked as
a new one from Colorado. Otherwise Europe was
very blanketed and spotty, resembling a sort
of speckle propagation in MM fiber optics...
Finally for the last 5 minutes 7 MHz turned
out to be a goldmine with the big surprise
of working Allan VK2GR with a good signal.
No time left to work all 30 visible on the
waterfall. Time-OUT at 2000Z mercilessly.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
