ICOM IC-7300, Heil Pro Micro Headset, Vectronics VC300DLP Manual Tuner for 15
Meters only, and a ZS6BKW Flattop, up 50 feet, running N-S at 6,053 feet
elevation in Laramie County, Wyoming. A computer crash and limited Op time
resulted in my limited results. No 160 antenna. 10 MTRS was dead for me, and 15
MTRS provided only 20 contacts. 69% of my Q's were made on 20 MTRS, and 22% on
40 MTRS. Surprised at the # of California Ops who did not send (or know) the
4-letter abbreviation for their own county. A disturbing new trend, after
contesting since 1989, is the amount of "drive-by Ops, who answered my
"CQ California ONLY" call who...Wait for it...weren't located in
California. Come on Man! Always a fun event. Thanks for the Q's! November Seven
