Comments:
This was a contest of shrinking goals. I didn't think I was going to get a
sweep until KP2M and VY1CO showed up on Sunday. VY1AAA had called me on 40
Saturday evening but I could never get a number from him. VY1CO was LOUD,
fortunately!!
OK, one goal down but I wanted to beat my QSO count from last year of 1330. NOT
TO BE this year. I couldn't even reach 1200 so I settled for a raw score of
200K with 1192 Qs. That will shrink, of course, but it looks acceptable for
now.
Not sure why I was worse than last year...N2IC still performed. ;-)
Glad to see so many <30 QSO contesters but we have to teach some of them a
little more code. Come on CWOps! ;-)
Fun a usual but SS SSB is looking a bit iffy right now as I shut down the
station
