Plans changed last week and I had to work this weekend---just as I did last
year. Too bad because SS CW is a super fun contest and a nice warm up for CQWW
CW. I was pleased to see that the station here in Waikiki is still working as it
now sits idle most of the time. I am again reminded how much signals are
attenuated as they traverse the Ko'olau range to/from the U.S. Mainland. That
said, band conditions seemed to be in top shape, including 10M.
