Comments:
Always fun . even with compromised antenna this year . used half of my 40m DE
Zepp as an inverted L but didn't adjust length properly . resonance at about
1600 KHz. The KPA 1500 tuner is amazing.
Many "NS" friends worked -- W9RE, N1LN, K4RO, WJ9B etc etc.
-- Very poor conditions but got "WACS" and "WA7S" -- worked
all CA sections and Worked all 7 sections :-). SB was elusive but three called
in eventually. Just one WY Q and one AK, KL7.
-- DX worked included ZF2 C6 XE plus the two JA's. The C6 was S-8/9 all Sat
evening with few takers.
-- Fairly early start on Sunday morning -0220Z netted two JA's after S9 rain
static subsided. the JA5 was almost S-9, but opening was very brief.
