Comments:
40M was very good tonight. It was longer just before the CWT than in the CWT as
some 4 area stations such as K4FN were pretty weak before CWT, but fairly strong
during CWT. Was able to work a few stations in my own state, maybe groundwave
but at a good distance. Nice to work PA3AAV and AH6KO on 40M. Took a while to
find a frequency on 80M and the rate wasn't quite as good as on 40, but did work
a few west coast stations on 80. 96 QSOs on 40M in 32 mins and 73 QSOs on 80M
in 28 minutes. Thanks for all the QSOs and hope to work many of you on 10M in
the ARRL 10M contest this weekend. 73, John, K4BAI
TS590SG, Alpha 78 - 1 KW+. Dipoles. 40M unintentionally sloping toward the
south as the result of a rope breaking ths week and 80M inverted vee dipole.
