Comments:
Bet some of you were surprised to hear N6ZFO in the RTTY NS! Finally worked out
the problems of rapidly converting from RTTY to CW - - managed to do so in under
3 mins, allowing time for set-up and some pre-event Q's on CW, including a long
one with W1NN discussing our move to VA.
I like RTTY a lot and am probably hooked. Wish we could get a few more. . the
NS CW started with dupes, but quickly became so popular that we dropped them.
The no-dupe format that encouraged more to join in. We did a careful study for
cw, determining that with 25 stations in, I think, a 4-band format there was no
score or rate advantage to allowing dupes.
