Comments:
My son Max KD9NZB and I roved through EN52, 53, 62, and 63 on Saturday afternoon
and Sunday afternoon.
The good:
Loads of activity on all modes
Great conditions
Great operators
Radios performed admirably
The bad:
Homebrew Moxon popped a wire and it had to be soldered while I sat on the ground
in a parking lot
Homebrew Moxon popped a PVC joint and had to be salvaged with duct tape
Everything took longer than planned
The Sunday weather was awful (windy, rainy, and 50 F)
