Comments:
Aftermath of Aurora: poor conditions. The upper
bands (21/28) were completely blank. All of USA
on 14 MHz very weak. Had to take 7 MHz for the
finals as it seemed that I would not make 1k pts.
I tried my luck on the Traficom call sign lottery,
as I was still missing OH7/OH8 call signs from the
full set of ten in a dozen. Got a good OH8-hit with
OH8CZF ("Certified former Cayman": ZF2KZ in the 80's).
This call certainly is quite a bit more elaborate to
use than the shorter OH5ZA or OG6B alternatives. At
least I will not run out of options for N x SOSB e.g.
in the Scandinavian contest SAC of the coming weekend.
