Comments:
Got my first contact at 00:04 on the 29th, or locally Saturday night at 8:04PM.
However, I had been working on getting the voice TX macros working using the
built-in recordings of the IC-7610. I had thought about stopping at 50, but
when I saw that Knight was in there with points, I put in an extra effort in
case he came back in and dominated. Good job, John, Jerry, and Ed. You guys
were so far out, that I never saw your dust. Went to work some on 80-meters,
but found the tuner wasn't switching. 80-meter SWR looked good, but the switch
would not select 160-meters. I called one station on 80-meters and he did not
answer, so I ruled out those bands. Got work for the week.
Had some fun.
