Comments:

I had to support a local 100 mile bicycle run on Saturday, so I didn't get a
chance to operate until Saturday evening. Had a couple of personal interruptions
on Sunday, but I operated as much as I could. I was able to beat last year's
score with the same operating time. Last year I had 187 Qs, only 16 zones and
107 countries using my backup IC-7300 vs this year's Flex 6600. Doing S&P
with a large-screen monitor is a lot easier than with a tiny scope on the
radio.

10, 15 and 20 meters where all active and propagation was favorable. Was only
able to use my 80-10M OCF dipole and low power. Life as a little pistol is a bit
harder, but more challenging.

Ops were civilized in most pile-ups, if the calling station maintained effective
pile-up control. If they didn't maintain control, things often got messy.
Running stations need to understand that there are effective techniques for
running an orderly pile-up. You don't just call CQ and see what happens.
