ALL HAIL THE HIGH BANDS! And praise be to the Sunspot Gods!

Actually all bands for that matter. Crazy good prop on the high bands and down
to 80M here ... "one of the best Asia openings of this century" per
Dave K2XR!

We set a goal of 10.7M .. last years score ... as we had a couple less operators
and operator hours available this year ... (4971 Qs, 750 mults, 10.7 points) and
we had the usual front loading of Qs and Mults in the first 24 hours ..

Coming into Sunday morning we were about 367 Qs behind last year but about 73
mults ahead (I'll take that trade and about the same score wise depending on how
you look at it (beginning of 11Z or end) regardless there was work to be done
...

Then the magic happened (10 & 15 delivered in spades') and we looked up at
about 17Z and BAM! we were on our way to beating our goal by 1M.

The radios (Flex) and Amps (Acom 2kAs) and computers (Dell) and software
(N1MM)and Green Heron Everywhere (GHE)there's a lot of software these days, all
performed as well as they could and we had no down time except from some cockpit
error in switching antennas (minor detail).

We had Dave K2XR, remoting in which worked quite well thanks to his relentless
investment of time in trying various means to reduce latency and make remote ops
as close to being in the shack as possible .. more to come here ..

On the wish list: better 80M capability, south facing tribander, and addition of
an "In Band" capability for M2 operation and improved internet
infrastructure in the shack.

Once again, Thank You to the "Loud is Good" Contest Club for the use
of the venerable N2AA call sign, and to our Operators, Engineers, Hooligans:

Dano - W2NO
Dave - K2XR
Marty - W2CG
Kelly - XYL for feeding us well
Yours Truly - W2MKM

73 and Stay Off our Frequency :-)

The N2AA CQWWCW Team ... GO FRC!
