Your friend needs a manual, Sean, if he does not have one. I am assuming it is
a 2-tube SX model. It should already have 25 amp 250 volt fuses in it per the
manual when it was converted. Also he needs to change the 10 ohm step-start 
resistors 
to 25 ohms as the new 35 mfd cap takes longer to charge up to 80% and the old 
10 ohm
resistors were a compromise in the first place for those who operated on 115v.

There are several models of Peter Dahl transformers for the 77. if his is the
next size up from stock, he needs 30 amp 250 volt fuses. The stock fuse holders
are very marginal at 25-30 amps. He needs to inspect them internally 
periodically
for arcing/burning.
