I want to convert one of my extra amps for use on 6 meters before the E skip
season is upon us. I have two amps I am looking at as possibilities, a Henry
2K-4 and a Dentron DTR2000L. The Henry has two 3-500Zs in it while the
Dentron uses a 8877. The Henry uses tuned input while the Dentron does not.
My six meter rig is an IC-706 so I can provide 80-100W of drive.

My question is which amplifier would be the best to convert? Which would be
the easiest? And any hints or tips from those of you that have done this
before. It would be nice if I could just convert the 10M bandswitch position
for 6M and still have the use of other bands. Thanks for any input and ideas.
