In a message dated 97-08-02 07:42:44 EDT, you write:

<< Hello,
Can someone tell me the difference between the 77d, 77dx and the 77sx
I know there were others like the PA. Also if the kit for installing the
second 8877 is still available? I think the sx was 2 tubes with heavier
 transformer.

Ron,
All three models start with "PA". The PA-77D was one 8877 tube with power
transformer to handle one tube, no second hole. The PA-77DX was one tube with
the "SX" transformer, with second hole covered with a removable plate. The
PA-77SX was the two tube model. Contact KM1H ( whos posts messages on here
all the time), he I think has or knows where to get the parts to convert then
to two holers.
Best 73,
Terry Gaiser - W6TG
