I have a batch of 3CPX5000 pull-outs from an equipment changeover
(they went to solid state) available. The tubes are mixed unused
(spare equipment) and used but full power pulls from RF pulse
transmitters.

These tubes require NO socket (they have a drilled grid flange and
screw terminals for the cathode and filament). They have a
3CX15000B7 cathode and grid inside a 4CX5000 style anode cooler.
Heater requirements are modest at 15 volts 15 amps. With 7000
volts on the anode in cathode driven service they output a very
clean (typically in the -50 dB third order range) two tone signal of
10000 watts with 200 watts of drive.

No messy screen supply, no tetrode instability, easy-to-tune, and
capable of many ten's of kilowatts on peaks. $350 each or
2 for $600 with 60 day guarantee.
