The question is how much inductance?  According to Wes, the Matsushita 
resistors we use in our VHF parasite suppressors have about 0.01uH of 
intrinsic inductance.

IMO,  current transistor technology is becoming obsolete  Just as 
germanium- crystal semiconductors were superceeded by silicon-crystal 
semiconductors, the latter will be superceeded by carbon-crystal 
semiconductors.
