I operated the entire CQWWCW with my SB-220 and only really tuned up 3-4
times, by using index cards behind the tune and load knobs marked for each
band.  Preset and go.  Maybe 5 seconds to change bands.  No problems and
performance seemed fine.  

Was I:

-- enjoying a forgiving amp, and others are less so?
