There was a construction article for an amp of this in the January 1974
issue of Ham Radio by W4OQ. I built the amp and used it for a while years ago.
If you will pass along details, such a what the situation is now, how
much plate voltage you are running, drive power available, and power
out, I will try to look up in my notes what you can expect with the mod.
I currently have a standard configuration G.G. 4-1000A amp. My max. drive
available is 100 watts. It has a very good tuned input circuit, and the
output is 1550 watts with 6000 volts on the plate @ 740 ma IP, which is
the design limit for the tube.
