I am certainly not the amp expert, but I do have one of these amps.  It was
built in Japan.  It has two 3-500Zs, a very beefy power supply (mine runs off of
220), and has 10-160 meter (although 160M band is tuned for 1.9 MHZ up).  The
weak point is cooling.  I got mine for $500.  GL 73 Denis, W4DC

Hello all;

I have a chance to pick up an XR3000D by Frontier Ltd.

It appears to have a pair of 3-500z's. Looks like it was run on 120V.

Any pros or cons with this amplifer ? Overall quality ?What it is worth ?
