Eimac have told me that the YC156 is identical, except for some tests
performed at Eimac, to the 3CPX5000A7 (note the P -its a pulsed
version). In fact they sent me a 3CPX5000A7 data sheet, and wrote in pen
'YC156'. It is certainly used in some MRI medical systems, so I would
not be supprised if it is not available for general sale. There is an
FAQ on Eimac web site that basically says that for many YC*** and Y***
tubes, data sheets are not available, and cant be purchased either by
just anyone. I have no idea if the YC156 falls into this category.

There should be on my employers ftp site a YC156 data sheet that I
scanned in. Please ftp to medphys.ucl.ac.uk, then get the file
pub/users/davek/yc156.zip. The quality is not great - I scanned in a fax
sent to me. I cant recall the what the files expand to - probably
*.gif. The file readme.txt is also useful . There are also some other
data sheets of similar tubes, including the 3CPX5000A7, 3CX5000A7 and
3CX15000B7. The readme.txt file explains why I included the latter tube
- you might well find it useful.
