Hi Natan...

Of course I'm biased (so to speak), but I'd urge you to contact Carl, John
or maybe Glenn at Alpha/Power as a start. It costs mighty little to call,
and these are the guys that know the current Alpha line best.

If your '89 is less than 4 years old it's still in warranty and NOBODY
other than the factory is authorized for warranty service in US/Canada.
Some really good guys have applied over the years, but we've found it a big
advantage to deal directly with our customers on service issues.

Good luck & 73,

Dick W0ID

This weekend, I had my trusty Alpha 89 go down. The protective fuse in the
receive line blows when the amp is put into transmit mode suggesting a
problem on the TR board.

Who is doing repair work on Alphas beside Alpha Power? Would prefer
someone on the east coast.

thanks....

Natan, W6XR/2
