Hello there,

It's a shame you couldn't find one of the 160 meter AM bunch to buy that
transmitter off you. I hear them in "lock to talk" operation on 160
meters most any night. Most of the "serious" guys are running old
broadcast transmitters... Hard to listen to them very long.
The last time I was mobile HF, I drove from near Stockton, CA. 36 miles
up I-5 toward Sacramento (near my home) before the operator "passed the
qso over" to the other guy. You've got to have a broadcast transmitter
for that type of duty cycle.

Otherwise, I'd love the used 4-400's for my HF amplifier.

Would you consider UPS?

cheers

I have aquired a cca 1000d am transmitter. It is in service and will be
removed 1/22/99. It is being replaced with a new harris solid state
it has 4- 4-400 tubes plus a extra modulation xformer and some tubes. I
would sell Make Offer '
