I have bought an Ameritron al-811hxce.
It works fine, but only the 10.1 mhz gives a small problem , I can`t get
enough power out of the tubes, it seems that the load is on the end of his
range.
The maximum output on that frequency is 350 watt, do you know why?
On the backside of the amplifier are wholes with bandmarks on it, are these
wholes to perform and peak the output on a specific frequency Band?
I have also an other question, can I use this amplifier in full break-in
mode in CW or do I need the
optional kit?
