Hi,
does anybody have specs for the Eimac Y670 triode. It's a small
metal/ceramic tube with a threaded stud at one end for connection to a
cooler etc. The tube must be good for UHF as it is in a 430MHz amp which
was a driver for a 60KW (that's not a typo) pulse amp using a 8938 tube in
a conduction cooled cavity on that frequency.
Some of the amps used a 3cx400U7 as the driver and some used two of the
Y670 tubes for the same application.
I wrote to Eimac, but they no longer have any details.
Any clues?
