A single 8171 takes up 1/2 as much chassis space as a pair of
4-1000A/8166s, drives with 150w instead of 350w (g-g), and requires
substantially cooling air pressure. If need be, an 8171 will deliver
about 4db more of what one uses an amplifier for. . In Class A, the
8171 will deliver an extraordinarily clean 1500w.
