?  The same person wrote the manual for the SB-1000 amplifier.  Therein 
he says that it's ok to run over 500mA to a 3-500Z.  .  He also stated 
that AC circuit analysis can not be used to calculate current 
distribution in a VHF parasitic- suppressor.  Another interesting comment 
was that the resistance of nickle-chromium conductors Increases as 
frequency decreases.  (sic)
