Sorry to ruin your day with thoughts of X-Ray Fried Brains, but X-Rays
do not travel very far in the Earths atmosphere. But they sure do
travel in a vacuum (Check out the Chandra (nee AXAF) and the
Einstein (nee HEAO) Observatory data).
