No pardoning required. The term "Irep" came from the last umteen issues of
the ARRL Handbook. Since that's the book that alot of my initial learning
was gleaned from, that's the term I remember most easily.  It's likely
their own notation, chosen because it is "descriptive" and easy to
understand. Yes, I have the same collection of data books here that you do,
but I chose not get into alot of hard to follow nomenclature with
subscripts, that ultimately cloud the simple answer that is required.

You did a good job transcribing from Motorola's book.
