?  The Zener in the 922 is seemingly extraordinarily tough.  An 
extraordinary current pulse is required to cause it to short.  A shorted 
Zener is an indicator or intermittent parasitic oscillation at c. 120MHz. 
 Grid RFC damage typically accompanies such an event.
