Hi Fred,
I can measure everything you mention here, and have been able to
for many years. This stuff has actually been measured by many
people before.
If you want to measure some PA's contact me when you are ready,
and maybe we can try to arrange a "loan" of various types. You'll
be amazed at how little magic there really is.
One thing I suggest is a measurement of tuning capacitor
impedance at VHF, and anode circuit impedance. That
measurement is very revealing.
