Hello Elmers...
I have got 20 pcs of BYV96E diodes and want to use them in a
voltage doubler to achive about 3.8KV
The BYV96E is a 1.5 A 1000/1100 V fast recovery soft avalanche
diode made by Philips.
Can it be used in a rectifier ???
I wnat to use 5 of them in a leg . Do I have to add resistors/capcitors
parallel with each diode ???
I have herad it was true in old days but nowdays diodes do
not need it.
