Hi All,
I am in the process of buying a new amp and I have narrowed my choices =
down to three: Alpha 99, Henry 3KD Premiere and an Ameritron AL-1500. =
At the moment I am leaning towards towards the Alpha, cheap replacement =
tubes and a great warranty - although the most expensive. I have owned =
a few older Henrys and they are built like tanks, except the 3KD =
Premiere seems a bit weak in the PS department. The AL-1500 is the =
least expensive and I have heard a lot of good things about this amp (as =
well as bad). This will be the last amp I buy for a while so reliabilty =
and service is a major factor. Help me toss a coin ;-)
