I'm ready to start drilling holes on a new amp, and I wanted
to confirm from you YC-156 users out there that I am in the
ball park on my design numbers. Please comment on them:

!. Pi-L designed @ 1000 ohms plate load.
2. Tuned input designed @ 24 ohms cathode impedance, with
    a "Q" of 4.....Eimac says 3 or more.
3. c. -30 volts bias should give ZSAC of 600 ma with Ep of 6000v.
4. Siemens arc suppressor installed from grid to cathode to limit
    internal tube arcs to < 4 Joules.
5. HV glitch resistor installed; will start testing with a 10 ohm 100 =
watt
    resistor.
6. 6 minute timer installed to turn on HV and PTT after filament is =
powered.
    (Per Eimac)=20
7. Filament power controlled through air flow sensor in blower.
8. 10 minute timer installed to run blower after shut-down. (Per Eimac)

Am I missing anything here?  I like to live by the motto: measure twice,
drill once. An Elmer of mine once said: "Measure with a micrometer, mark
it with chalk, and cut it with an axe!"
