I deleted the question about preventing a Clipperton from blowing
relays in an exciter.
First, what relay? If it is the antenna transfer relay contacts in the
Kenwood, it could be failing because the Clipperton is momentarily
oscillating or because the tubes momentarily arc.
If it's a relay contact involved is keying the amplifier, the problem
could be back-pulse when the relay is de-energized.
Which relay are you talking about?
