?  Low power induction motors (such as the types used to operate blowers
and fans) do not have start windings.


This is true. I guess it depends on how small "low power" is.


 I have been able to reverse some
motors by removing the armature and reinstalling it from the opposite
direction.


    I never thought of taking the motor apart before. I'll have to try that
myself.
