Tell it not in Garth, whisper it not in the streets of Absalom, but the MFJ
30MHz LPF that I got is well made, appears to do an adequate job if the network
analyser at work can be believed, and uses low inductance capacitors formed out
of board material. As I remember, it was around $30, and so making one wasn't
worth the effort,  unless one likes the exercise. Whether or not they still do
it is another matter................
