A word of caution here
The Svetlana tubes are great but I know if you use them in a stock amp (such
as a Yaesu FL-2100z) then due to their higher gain they are not biased off
sufficiently on receive and this can cause them to oscillate.

information
It is a very simple mod to increase (negative) the bias voltage but it just
shows that not all tubes are created equal (even if given the same
designator)
