That is true, Vern.Also it is highly recommended that the blower continue
operation for several minutes after shut-down. Eimac also recommends
only one heater on/off cycle per day for maximum tube life.

The good news that with only 225 watts being drawn from the heater, the
amp can be left in standby for a week-end without  hurting your wallet like
most big tubes do.
