I recently got a dual 2C39 Amplifier for 1296 Mhz and am trying it out. Many
people claim that it is possible to get 300 watts out of a single cavity with a
pair of 2C39's. I would like to know how this is done. I presently have +2200
VDC NO load at the anode and only get about 125 watts out max with plate
current up to abt 350 ma. I guess I am not to go above 350ma Plate current.
I guess the question is what details should I be addressing to get the power up
to 300 watts ??? I tried adjusting the output and input tuning and coupling
controls as well.
