Problem with Henry 2KDThat is good news, Troy. Keep us posted on what =
failed.

Subject: RE: [AMPS] Problem with Henry 2KD

Last night, I changed tube positions, and the problem stayed with the =
socket position. I.E. the suspected
bad tube worked just fine in the other socket, and the "good tube" is =
now not lighting up.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this should isolate the problem down to =
just a handfull of components
that are unique to just this tube socket. Hopefully I can identify =
the bad component(s) this weekend
and get her runnin back at 100%. Only problem , is that it will not =
be easy to get to some of the parts.
It is a desktop unit, so things are quite packed in.

Thanks for all of the suggestions!

Swap the tubes to the opposite sockets, and see
if the brighter one moves, or the darker one is now the
    brighter one.
You have probably also zapped a padder capacitor in
the tuning or loading section of the tank.

    Please report what you find.
    GL!
