And the display 'bloom' if you have the intensity up too far!
But there, modern spectrum analysers put the intelligence behind the front
panel. The 141 and its ilk require the intelligence between the ears of the
operator. However, the intelligent operator has a better chance of deciding if
the answers are correct, somewhere near correct, or the equivalent of a
personnel managers' promise!
