I'm in a conversation with an Italian Amateur who has
retrofit his Dentron GLA-1000 with 4cx250's. We are
trying to work out a few of the details via Email. I'm
trying to get him to snap some pictures for placement
on the sonic server.

In the Dentron GLA-1000 series of amps I would like to
convert one to a non-sweep tube but keep the exisiting
power supply. I want to maintian it's small size and
fairly light weight. The power supply is a little
whimpy @ about 1150 to 1200 vdc and at about 1 amp
max. Is there a tube out there I could use that would
provide about 500 watts or so of power on 80-10
meters? I only have about 4 inches of vertical height
to work with.
