Thank you for answer.
I know about this way of "repairing" such tubes, but it works
better for the graphite anode ones, because of their higher
anode mass/weight. I tried myself for a RE400C (4-400 equivalent)
having graphite anode and worked ok.
But for the 3-500Z it may be not so successfully, as the anode mass
is lower and the more physical abuse needed will be dangerous
for the filament/grid structure.
Will try it as a final solution.
