Offering a L4B retrofittted and dedicated 6 meter DECK ONLY kilowatt
amplifier for operation with any Drake owner's L-4PS supply. Here's a
unique and inexpensive opportunity to purchase a modified Drake L4B RF
deck that plugs directly into any factory L-4PS supply when the occasion
arises for 6m DX'ing and contesting. The deck develops 1000+ watts
with a pair of Eimac 3-500Z's with 100 watts of drive. The amplifier's
antenna relay is fully compatible with the newer generation solid state
exciters. The front panel bandswitch control has been replaced with fully
adjustable "T-Match" air variable for a 1:1 swr between the exciter and
input circuitry. Outwardly, the deck appears to be stock Drake and is in
excellent condition. Each and every control functions in the normal
manner. The deck components were specifically selected for their broad
band characteristics and allow for 1mHz frequency excursions without
