I'm looking for some input on the various amps that use 811A tubes, such as the Collins 30L1, Ten-Tec Centaur, and the various Ameritrons. Anyone care to comment as to which of these (or similar amps from another vendor) is the best 811A amp? Anyone care to offer any suggested improvements for these amps?
