Ok guys here is your chance to fool with SS amps.
I have 4 600 watt amp boards they use 2 MRF-249 or 2 Acrian S200-50
They have a BY-1 driver.
Bias is 5 volts from external supply
VCC is 48 volts
I have had output at 500 watts on 14mc.
Thats the good news
The bad news is
Transformers fall off past 20 meters. Need wider band transformers if you
want 10M
No output filters
Need to change emitter resistors to 10 watt.
Heat sink is MUCH to small for side band use. Need larger heat sink
