Daniel,
on many Yaesu rigs it is called TX GND. I don't know if the 990 is the
same. Don't use the jack marked PTT. That actually keys the rig from an
external source.
Other than that, go to http://www.mods.dk/ and click on Yaesu. Then go to
Manuals and scroll down. The FT-990 is there.
