I would be suspicious of any business that relies on hotmail
for it's email accounts. Having had some bad experiences lately
in a different area with a "firm" which turned out to be a fraud,
using hotmail accounts I would not deal with any organization that
doesn't use a real account where the true origin can be traced.

No offence intended to those legit users of hotmail accounts.
